Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) Fees and Denials
In accordance with the Pennsylvania Uniform Firearms Act, the PICS Division of the Pennsylvania State Police conducts background checks on all firearm purchases. Capital Arms Depot will collect any associated fee and remit it to the state.
In the event of a PICS denial, you’re in the right place! We will provide you with a copy of a PICS Challenge form from the PSP website to dispute the denial. As an added bonus, Capital Arms Depot owner and firearms attorney Rob Sakovich will discuss with you the circumstances of your denial to determine whether or not you are likely to have a case for relief from the purported firearms rights disability. If you are likely to have a case, Attorney Sakovich may represent you or refer you to other knowledgeable attorneys with experience restoring and defending Second Amendment rights. Either way, you’re in good hands!
